Technology Support Specialist
The Medaille College IT department seeks an organized, self-motivated problem-solver to serve on its support team. In this position, the person will install and support PCs, printers and audio-visual equipment, provide front-line technical assistance to students, staff and faculty, assist with new user training, utilize our help desk ticketing system as well as various other related tasks.
Requirements include PC troubleshooting skills, classroom technology troubleshooting skills and audio-visual equipment trouble shooting skills. The hours are Monday-Friday 11:00am to 7:00pm, plus occasional weekend overtime. The successful applicant must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and be detail oriented. A bachelor’s degree and one to three years experience preferred.
