Professor of the Practice, Education
Medaille College invites applicants for a position in education to begin August 15, 2019. The successful candidate will become part of the Department of Education Faculty. Medaille College offers both undergraduate and graduate education degrees in Early Childhood, Childhood, Adolescent Education, Students with Disabilities, and Literacy. Rank as Assistant or Associate Professor of the Practice is dependent on experience.
A master’s degree with 3-5 years of teaching in P-12 schools is required. A terminal degree in education is preferred. Experience in academic leadership and college-level teaching is highly desired. The successful candidate will teach both undergraduate and graduate courses including online and on-ground formats. The faculty at Medaille College is expected to consistently demonstrate scholarly growth.
