Outstanding Requirements Coordinator
The Medaille College Department of Education invites applications for a Part-time position as Outstanding Requirements Coordinator. This position will work approximately 24 hour per week. The primary responsibility includes carrying out the review process for our graduate programs by reviewing transcripts from potential students, reviewing and approving courses for current students to fulfill outstanding Liberal Arts and Science requirements as outline by the New York State Department of Education (NYSED), and acting as a liaison with students, Graduate Admissions, Program Directors, and the Registrar’s Office regarding student outstanding requirements. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to attending all new student orientations and Student Teaching/Practicum Meetings, maintaining Department of Education platforms (e.g., Blackboard, LiveText, etc.), and assist the Office of Student Teaching and Certification with tasks as needed. Experience in higher education is preferred, with preference for candidates familiar with the New York State Department of Education (NYSED) and those having experience with New York State teacher certification.
