Director of Professional Enhancement
Medaille College seeks applications for a Director of Professional Enhancement. The Director will work in partnership with Medaille’s College Relations team, Alumni Association Board of Directors, the Office of Career Planning, Office of Information Technology, select faculty and staff, and off-campus partners to design, develop and scale the delivery of professional development and lifelong learning content that is accessible, convenient and relevant to alumni, the larger Medaille community and area businesses, professional associations, and other interested stakeholders. The Director will recognize and develop talent among alumni, faculty, staff and other volunteers and assist the alumni association in developing a board structure that provides the best possible leadership and direction to professional and lifelong learning efforts and other social activities fulfilling the mission of the Alumni Association.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in professional development.
Must have knowledge of strategic planning, an ability to apply the newest communication, web, social media and other digital technologies toward professional development activities The successful candidate will be able to lead, motivate, develop, train and organize volunteers, including the College’s Alumni Association Board
