Department of Education:  Full-time, Assistant Professor

Medaille College invites applicants for a position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Education to begin August 15, 2020. The successful candidate will become part of the Department of Education Faculty.

Medaille College offers both graduate and undergraduate degrees in Early Childhood/Childhood and Adolescent Education, Students with Disabilities, and Literacy preparing graduates to become empowered classroom teachers, resource teachers, and consultants.

The successful candidate will be required to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses including in online and on-ground formats, including field experience courses. The candidate must possess a Master’s degree in Education by August of 2020 as well as a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in P-12 school. College-level teaching is preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with degrees in the following areas: Early Childhood, Science, and English. Candidates with in-depth knowledge of the edTPA certification exam are highly preferred.
