Medaille College seeks applications for a Communications Manager. The Communications Manager manages and supports internal and external communications and public relations to create, maintain and strengthen relationships with College constituencies, including but not limited to prospective students, current students, faculty/staff, alumni, donors, business and community organizations, government entities, and the larger Western New York community. The Communications Manager reports directly to the Vice President for College Relations and works collaboratively with advancement, enrollment services, the President and other offices on campus. When appropriate, the communications manager will work with the public relations consultant.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. The successful candidate will have seven years’ experience in communications and supervision, and be an effective communicator both with written and oral skills. Must have experience with multiple print and digital communications media, new/emerging trends in communications, strategic planning and budgeting.
