Assistant Sports Information Director
Medaille College is currently seeking a full time Assistant Sport Information Director. The Assistant will be responsible for complying with all NCAA, AMCC, NEAC and Medaille College policies, rules, and regulations. Responsible for compiling statistical and historical information on individual athletes and teams; prepare information and reports for the NCAA, AMCC, and NEAC. Promote Medaille’s College athletes, coaches, and sports through a variety of media, advertising, promotional, marketing, and social media strategies (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram). Oversees all game day management including set up, break down, statistical reporting to meet NCAA, NEAC and AMCC requirements, live statistics, video streaming, recording and distributing game film to coaches. Travels with Medaille College athletic teams when necessary.
The successful candidate will interview, hire, and train all Medaille Athletic student work staff, interns, and graduate assistants to assist in game day management and operations. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree and previous sports information experience.
