Administrative Assistant, Public Safety

Medaille College is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the Department of Campus Public Safety. The successful candidate will be required to provide a variety of administrative duties and must possess excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills. The Administrative Assistant will support the Purchasing Department of Operations through the coordination and Banner input of campus-wide Purchase Requisitions, communicate with vendors to coordinate and verify orders as well as delivery schedules.

This position requires an Associate’s degree with a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position. Proficiency is required in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create documents for, but not limited to, spreadsheets, charts, posters, graphs, databases, and correspondence. Working knowledge of Banner is helpful and knowledge of electronic record keeping systems is required.
