Administrative Assistant

Medaille College seeks applications for an Administrative Assistant for the TRiO Student Support Services Program (SSS).  This position is grant funded through August 31,, 2020.  The Administrative position is a 12-month, full time (40 hours per week) position supporting the administrative and data needs of the department. TRiO SSS serves low-income, first-generation college students, and students with disabilities evidencing the need for academic support. This position works cooperatively with other SSS staff to maintain compliance with federal legislation, including data collection and preparation of annual performance reports. The Administrative Assistant supports the project goals of retaining and graduating the target population by providing office reception and clerical support, and maintaining the database.

A successful candidate has excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office and database entry; and the ability to coordinate a variety of projects simultaneously. Bachelor’s Degree required in Education, Business, English, Psychology, or related degree. Experience in an office setting or school preferred.
