Adjunct Professor English
The Medaille College Academic Success Center (ASC) seeks part-time English adjuncts for the preparatory studies curriculum for the summer and fall 2021. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching in a small college setting and to the education of diverse populations, a perceived ability to work productively with students, and the ability to work effectively with others in a collegial environment dedicated to student learning. In addition to teaching, adjunct professors are expected to hold regular office hours and participate in professional development workshops, classroom observations, and collaborate with the campus community.
Evidence of successful college-level teaching and a minimum of a Master’s degree in the appropriate discipline are required for consideration. Preference will be given to applicants with a PhD in the appropriate discipline.
