Technology Support Specialist

The Medaille College IT department seeks an organized, self-motivated problem-solver to serve on its support team.  In this position, the person will install and support audio-visual equipment, PCs and printers; provide technical assistance to students, staff and faculty; assist with new user training; maintain equipment inventories; compile data reports; and various other related tasks.

Requirements include PC troubleshooting skills, dexterity with small hand tools, the ability to use a ladder and to lift 40 lbs. Hours are M-R 11a to 7p, F 11a-4p plus occasional weekend overtime.

The applicant must possess good written and oral communication skills and be detail oriented. BA and one to three years experience preferred.
